Members will get to vote on the anime we watch next. This meeting is more relaxed than regular anime night and you can eat ramen!

Haydn's "Creation" - FLC Choirs, Orchestra, and guests

Join us in April for a performance of Joseph Haydn’s eighteenth-century masterpiece for soloists, chorus, and orchestra, The Creation. Led by FLC’s Director of Choral Activities, Brendan Barker, the combined student choirs and orchestra will take to the Community Concert Hall stage along with professional musicians from across the country and many local volunteers from the Durango area. With an orchestra of fifty and a choir of eighty, the hall will resound with celestial beauty from the first miraculous “Let there be light” through a rapturous sequence of arias and choruses contemplating the natural beauty of the world around us. The trio of soloists includes FLC’s own Wesley Dunnagan as tenor, baritone David Newman, and Grammy award-winning soprano Sarah Brailey. Get your seat before it’s too late! $20 for adults, (Pay cash or check at the door:) K12 and FLC students admitted free of charge
