Scholarships

Fort Lewis College recognizes outstanding academic achievement through merit scholarships. These scholarships are applied to tuition. You may receive only one four-year merit scholarship to cover tuition costs and you must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours each semester to receive merit-based awards. Renewal information for each scholarship differs, so view the terms and conditions for each scholarship.

*To determine your CCHE index you must add together your index “points” (the yellow bars). The first set of points is determined by your standardized test scores (dark blue bar on the left) using your composite ACT score or the combined total of your reading and math SAT subscores. Please note that subscores must come from a single test date – we cannot “superscore” ACT/SAT test scores. The second set of points is determined by your overall cumulative GPA across the top of the chart. PLEASE NOTE: your index for merit scholarships is determined AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION and will not be reconsidered with new test scores or GPA submitted after admission.

Application Deadlines

Early Action and Regular Decision options for the Fall Semester allow you to choose the deadline that works best for you. However, FLC encourages you to use our Early Action date. Note: The admission criteria and application review procedures are the same for both application options.
