Marketing Program


The Marketing program at Fort Lewis College prepares you to plan, price, promote, and distribute goods and services for industry, government, and not-for-profit organizations, boosted by an academic foundation that enables you to also pursue graduate study.

We do this through small classes, active learning, personal attention from expert faculty, and a curriculum that balances theory and practical applications –- this is the School of Business Administration's proven strategy for our graduates' success building rewarding careers.

We back up that solid foundation with accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International. The School of Business Administration is one of only 5 percent of business schools worldwide that hold this international honor.

Our students also get to practice their skills in real-world business settings. Internship opportunities for accounting majors abound both in the local Durango community and the Front Range cities around Denver. Our Junior Trimester Abroad and Innovative Month program formats also provide unique and affordable educational experiences to our students.

And you, too, can be ready for that world because our students make professional connections through programs such as the Beta Alpha Psi, the FLC chapter of the accounting honor society, which organizes an annual visit to Denver-area financial firms, corporations, and government agencies.
