Are you a first-year student who needs to retake Comp 150, Econ 262, Chem 150, or Math 113? Are you looking for some extra preparation before you start your sophomore year? If so, FLC’s Maymester might be for you!
Our program for Comp and Econ students is May 8 through June 2 (4 weeks). Chem 150 and Math 113 students will participate in Maymester May 8-June 9 (5 weeks). You’ll have the opportunity to repeat one of these courses, checking off 3-4 credits of your Liberal Arts Core requirements.
The best part? Maymester is entirely free!
This is an exciting opportunity to save money, complete a course central to your Liberal Arts Core requirements, and prepare for your sophomore year—all before leaving campus for the summer.
It’s 100% free! Students enrolled in the Maymester course do not pay for classes, books, on-campus housing, meals, or events.
You’ll have extra support! Peer Educators and faculty mentors will help you boost your academic skills and apply them in structured classwork and study sessions.
When we are not busy with our coursework, we’ll explore our beautiful home in Durango. Activities include:
This opportunity is open to a limited number of qualified students. Email Michelle Bonanno at maymester@fortlewis.edu or call 970-247-7183 to register for Maymester.
