First Responder Training

September 6 – 8, 2022 | Animas Classroom (tentative), FLC

This First Responder Training aids individuals in identifying sexual violence and its relationship to oppression. Participants identify and define sexual violence and the trauma responses that survivors experience, as well as ways to be supportive to them. Additionally, participants examine cultural considerations within various communities that uplift survivors and cause additional harm. This training is free. Dinner is provided.

First Responder Training is organized by SASO in collaboration with FLC. Training occurs in three sessions on consecutive days:

  1. September 6, 5 – 8 p.m.
  2. September 7, 5 – 7 p.m.
  3. September 8, 5 – 8 p.m.
