About Dr. Moonkham

Dr. Moonkham is a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Anthropology. His research interests focus on landscape archaeology, spatial and GIS analysis, and ethnohistorical archaeology. social and religious landscape, plant uses, and human-environment interaction.

He has worked primarily in Northern Thailand, Laos, and Mainland Southeast Asia. In addition to research in Mainland Southeast Asia, Dr. Moonkham has also been interested in working on some archaeological sites in other regions, such as Island Southeast Asia, Indus Valley, and the US Southwest.
