Dr. Shuler joined the FLC teaching faculty in 1991, following his role in research/extension/environmental health monitoring. His varied professional experience includes environmental health, soil health reclamation, heavy metal uptake by crops, food quality and safety, soil/plant nutrition, agricultural production, and pest management. Current research interests encompass the development and use of computer based resources in promoting interdisciplinary thinking to create health solutions.
