Welcome. Counseling allows us to explore the thoughts, behaviors, emotions that impact our ability to thrive. For me, it is an opportunity to explore obstacles to living my best life. With the support of a counselor, I befriend the unseen or unknown parts of myself. Counseling offers the opportunity to examine our lives in a warm, kind environment.

When I sit in the room with a student, I welcome all parts of them. Nothing is off limits or unwanted. It is an opportunity to bring a new way of being to our struggles- a way filled with compassion, curiosity, friendliness, and kindness. Counseling is a safe and supportive environment for open communication. I am excited to have the opportunity to sit across from you. It is an honor.

When I am not counseling, you can find me with my partner Tom and Golden Retriever Sage exploring hiking trails, downtown Durango, and the greater 4 Corners area.
