I have called the four corners home since 2010, when after graduating from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania, I headed west to find adventure in the mountains. Upon landing in Durango, I knew this was a special place where I would build my life and find my path.

Part of my path was working for over a dozen years with Head Start, providing early childhood education and serving marginalized families. My personal and professional journeys have been full of both fantastic serendipity and driven by a thoughtful, caring, and methodical approach to new experiences; soaking in all the twists and turns of each new step.

I am grateful and humbled to be with the FLC Counseling Center as a second-year intern. While I serve and support you on your journey, I carry with me a person-centered approach and values of social justice, dignity, and the worth of each person. Close to my heart is knowing that you have the right to be accepted, heard, and valued, no matter where you are on your path.

Mancos is my home base now, full of family time outdoors where we enjoy exploring fishing holes, meandering hikes, skiing, camping, and the beauty of the mountains, rivers, creeks, and deserts. When I’m not outside, I love time with dear friends, cooking and baking, battling crossword puzzles, and making art.

I look forward to being there with you as you build your way, uncover your potential, and strive to reach your goals.
