Join us for the Clothesline Project

The Clothesline Project t-shirts.The Clothesline Project will be on display April 19-30th

In honor of April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month, WellPAC chooses to display the Clothesline Project at Fort Lewis College. Modeled after a national initiative to bring voice to violence against women, we have chosen to focus on displaying t-shirts that shed light on the stories of sexual assault survivors and those who support them. These are their stories, and we hope that you will respect them and gain awareness from them. We hope that this reminds you that it's on us to be a part of the solution rather than a part of the problem when it comes to sexual assault, especially on a college campus.

Trigger warning

We recognize that this display can be emotionally intense. If you find yourself triggered or in emotional distress related to the Clothesline Project, please know that we are here to support you. You can contact the Counseling Center at 970-247-7212 or 260 Noble Hall. You can also reach out to our community's resource Sexual Assault Awareness Services Organization (SASO)'s hotline at 970-247-5400. We are so lucky to have both valuable resources.

This year, we would also like to share an amazing student-created Trigger Resource Document, as we know that everyone’s experience is unique.

If you don’t feel ready or able to view the display, please consider taking alternate routes through the Student Union or avoiding their locations. You can find different entrances on the Student Union website.

Enter through door at the ground level across from the Skystore in the Breezeway. Climb the Stairwell SF-00 to the main level that would come out behind Animas Perks. Thank you for your support in this project. If you want to make a t-shirt, please email WellPAC or call 970-247-7508. There is always room for one more story.
