Maddie BellewAnimas Hall: Maddie Bellew

Maddie was born and raised in Michigan and attended Hope College in her home state. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management with a minor in Psychology. As an undergraduate student, Maddie played for Hope’s softball team, led a LGBTQ+ support group, and was involved in a violence awareness and prevention group. Maddie worked as a Resident Assistant for two years and a Student Assistant Residence Director for one year. In her free time, Maddie enjoys running, hiking, the piano, and board games. This is Maddie’s fourth year at FLC.


Melissa MossinghoffBader/Snyder: Melissa Mossinghoff

Melissa is currently in her second year as a Residence Director at Fort Lewis College after serving three years in a similar role in the Midwest. She is so thankful for the people and opportunities that the FLC Housing have offered her, both personally and professionally. Currently she is working on her Master’s in Student Affairs Administration at the University of Wisconsin Lacrosse. While not in the office, Melissa loves to travel, sing, and explore the mountains with her pup, Luna. 


Lamia ShapiroCamp Hall: Lamia Shapiro

Lamia was born and raised in Turkey. She attended Augsburg University in Minneapolis where she earned her Bachelor’s in English Literature, with a minor in Communication Studies. Lamia loves to travel and during her undergraduate years she studied abroad at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. During her free time, Lamia apprentices at a local tattoo and piercing shop. She also enjoys listening to music, watching TV, planning her next big traveling experience, and spending time with her cat Bootsie “Prosciutto” Collins. This is her third year at FLC.


Alex KeeneCooper Hall: Alex Keene

Alex was born and raised in the suburbs of Phoenix, Arizona. Escaping the heat, she attended and graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Media and Film. Throughout her time at NAU, Alex worked as a Resident Assistant on campus. In her free time, Alex loves to go on nature walks, explore museums, and visit new destinations. Her philosophy is always saying yes to trying new foods. She is an art enthusiast and loves to see others creative expressions. This is Alex’s fourth year at FLC.


Jessica ForgraveCrofton Hall: Jessica Forgrave

Jessie is from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and is currently pursuing her Master's in Student Affairs.  In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her husband Matthew and dog Bandit. Jessie is an avid cross-country skier and love all winter sports. This is Jessie's first year as a Residence Director at Fort Lewis College.


Maddie GillmanEscalante Hall: Madeleine Gillman

Madeleine was born and raised in Streator, IL. She graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s in English and minors in Sociology and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Madeleine also attended the University of Louisville to earn her Master’s in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Throughout her time at EIU she worked as a Resident Assistant and was highly involved in campus life. Outside of work Madeleine loves hiking, playing board games, and working on diy projects. This is Madeleine’s first year as a Residence Director at FLC.  


Taylor RyanMears and Centennial Apartments: Taylor Ryan

Taylor is originally from Michigan, where she attended Michigan State University for her Bachelor of Arts in English and the University of Michigan for her Master’s in Educational Leadership and Policy. Her top passion is educational equity, and she loves to learn more about the many avenues to support student success. She has previously worked as a Residence Director in New Hampshire, and this is Taylor's first year at the Fort. In her free time, Taylor loves to read, eat sushi, go to the dog park with her pup, and explore Colorado.  


Kain EgglerWest Hall: Kain Eggler

Kain graduated from the University of Minnesota Morris where he studied French, English, and the Medieval World. When not studying literature, Kain divides their time between the Residential Life and Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Offices. Kain now spends most of his time reading about vampires, planning his next trip, and adding stickers to his Nalgene. This is Kain’s fourth year at FLC.
