Sarah Roberts-Cady is a professor in the Department of Philosophy and an affiliate in the Gender and Sexuality Studies program at Fort Lewis College. She joined the College in 2000. Roberts-Cady's scholarly publications focus on ethics and political philosophy. She teaches courses on ethical theory, medical ethics, environmental ethics, political philosophy, feminist philosophies, and general surveys of the history of philosophy.
Roberts-Cady was the Alice Admire Outstanding Teacher at Fort Lewis College in 2011 and the Fort Lewis College commencement speaker in May 2009. She has served on the Teaching and Learning Committee and the Liberal Arts Core Council, among many other committees. She was the department chair for the Departments of Political Science and Philosophy from 2010-2012 and 2020-2023. Off-campus, Roberts-Cady has served on the Ethics Committee at Mercy Regional Medical Center since 2000.
