Learn outside the lines

Every two years (on the odd years), SOBA teams up with FLC’s Philosophy and Political Science departments to host the unique and innovative Teaching of Ethics Conference. Interdisciplinary in nature, conference attendees tackle topics such as Decolonizing Pedagogy of Ethics and Teaching Ethical Decision-Making in a Competitive Culture. All attendees of this conference contribute intellectual work as their admission to the conference. Presenters have twenty minutes, followed by five minutes of question & answer time, for their presentation, which may include an accompanying PowerPoint, poster, and handouts.

Email Dr. Takano at ktakano@fortlewis.edu with questions.

The 2019 Teaching of Ethics Conference is funded by Dr. Jesse Peters, Dean of Arts and Sciences at Fort Lewis College, and the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. The program chairs express their appreciation for this generous support.
