Submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid to find out your eligibility for federal, state, or institutional need-based financial aid. The FLC federal school code is 001353.

View and accept your financial aid award
First-year students must live on campus their first two semesters (see exemptions). All students are welcome to apply to live on-campus. Learn about on-campus housing options.
Apply for on-campus housing
Your Skyhawk Advisor creates your personalized class schedule and it will be sent to you mid-June. It will have information about how to schedule an appointment with your advisor to finalize your schedule, ask questions, and choose your First-Year Launch course.
You will receive an email to schedule your advising and registration appointment with your new Skyhawk Advisor after you've submitted the questionnaire. If you submit your transcripts in time, the Registrar's Office will complete your official transfer evaluation before the appointment.

Have the school or institution that issues your transcripts or an authorized third-party vendor send your official final transcripts directly to us; do not send in-progress coursework. You might be eligible for more scholarships if you have a higher cumulative GPA than what you provided before you were admitted. We only accept electronic transcripts if they come directly from the issuer or an authorized third party like Parchment or the National Student Clearinghouse. Do not forward your copies.
Your high school must fax, email, or mail your final official high school transcripts to us. Contact your former institution to find out how to order transcripts for any dual/concurrent enrollment courses. The Admission Office fax number is 970-247-7179.
Dual enrollment/concurrent enrollment credits: if you have earned college credits while in high school, you must request your official college transcript from that institution to be sent to us.

Provide proof of vaccination against measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) or proof of exemption. We strongly recommend students also get vaccinated against meningitis.

Take the Pre-Campus Academy online course. You'll receive an email invitation in your FLC email and access it on Canvas, our online course management system.
Deadline: Before classes begin
This step is optional. You can waive your right to privacy of your student education records, so specific people, like family members, can access your student record information to help you with things like class registration.
Submit FERPA waiver
Upload a photo so your SkyCard is ready for you on move-in day at campus. You'll have immediate access to your student housing and your meal plan.

Parking permits are required for all vehicles on campus.
Buy a parking permit
Save money and time and get your textbooks from the SkyStore, FLC's bookstore. Save up to 25% off the retail price by purchasing used textbooks, and around 50% if you rent them.

If you don't already have the equipment you need for class, you can rent your required laptop or smartphone, download the software you need, and get trained on how to use it all.
