Join us before classes start and connect with other incoming first-gen students, receive personalized mentorship, sharpen your academic skills, and dive into new experiences. This week is packed with exciting activities, new friendships, and everything you need to feel confident and supported from day one through graduation. And the fun doesn’t stop there: throughout the year, you’ll continue to grow through mentor meet-ups and events designed to help you succeed and create memories that last.

Who should join FirstGenExploration

  • First-year or transfer first-generation college students. (A first-gen student is someone whose neither parent has earned a 4-year degree.)
  • Students looking to make lifelong friends while having fun and learning.
  • Students eager to develop academic skills and explore campus resources.
  • Students who want to gain experiences that will stay with them forever.
