Pre-Nursing

Kick off your college career with the Pre-Nursing Peak Experience! You will join peers pursuing the Pre-Nursing degree track during this immersive, hands-on, experiential program. Get ready to take a deep dive into the nursing field: students will learn about healthcare in rural communities, meet with local healthcare providers, and learn hands-on nursing skills!

This is a great chance to navigate the world of rural healthcare right from your new college campus. Aside from nursing-specific activities, students will participate in fun workshops, explore Durango, and bond with students pursuing a nursing degree. While this program is not mandatory, students enrolled in the Pre-Nursing track at FLC are strongly encouraged to attend if possible.

When: August 19-24
Where: Fort Lewis College and the surrounding Four Corners community
Number of Students: 50
Student Cost: $100—includes all housing, food, transportation, and activities! Partial and full scholarships are available.

This Peak Experience is only available to students who have indicated they are pursuing the Pre-Nursing track at Fort Lewis College. Students on this track are strongly encouraged to attend if possible.
