These small-group adventures, led by trained student leaders, will help you build lasting friendships and jump-start your campus life.
Choose from hiking the San Juan mountain range, exploring cultural activities, rafting down the San Juan River, or even getting a head start on your nursing education.

If you’re a first-generation college student, FirstGenExploration is your space to connect with peers who understand your journey. Build skills, forge true friendships, and make the most of your college adventure.
This is a multi-day river trip where you float the San Juan River during the day and camp outside next to the river under the stars.
Build community through an Indigenous lens, receive support and mentorship from current Native American Center student leaders, learn how to be a successful student with campus resources, and explore the four corners region.
Your new backyard is full of alpine meadows, trout-filled lakes, deep forests, and jagged high peaks, so why not explore it with a group of your new peers?
