2026–27 tuition and fees

The Campbell Child & Family Center offers 8-hour and 8.5-hour daily enrollment options for Fort Lewis College students, faculty, staff, and community families. Tuition varies by classroom, enrollment schedule, and family affiliation.

Payment timeline and requirements

Tuition is due on the first day of each month, or the following Monday if the first falls on a weekend. Families receive their monthly tuition bill on or after the 25th of the preceding month.

Pay tuition online through the FLC Marketplace

If you need to arrange an alternative payment schedule, submit a written request to the Center director by the 25th of the month before payment is due.

Enrollment and additional fees

Families pay a one-time, nonrefundable security fee per child to confirm enrollment. This fee does not apply toward future tuition.

Additional time and late pickup fees

Families must follow their contracted drop-off and pickup schedules. Requests for additional time must be submitted in writing or by email at least two weeks in advance and require approval from the Center director.

Additional time depends on staffing availability and cannot exceed nine hours of care per day. Approved additional-time charges are added to the following month's tuition statement.

All additional-time requests are subject to approval. After three significant late pickups, families are charged a $200 fee and must meet with the Center director. Late pickup fees are mandatory, with no exceptions.

Enrollment options

Families can choose from year-round, academic-year, or summer enrollment options. Holding fees reserve a child's classroom placement for the following school year.

Avoiding holding fees: Families enrolled for the FLC fall and spring semesters may take a break in May and return for a summer session at the summer tuition rate without paying a holding fee. Families enrolled for the Campbell Center school year may avoid the holding fee by attending one summer session at the summer tuition rate.

Families can select an 8-hour or 8.5-hour daily schedule. Additional care outside the contracted schedule requires approval.
