Preschool Teacher Position

Preschool Teachers responsibilities include:

  • Supervision and manage classroom to the highest quality possible.
  • Insure the safety and well-being of the children at all times, being alert and proactive to the needs and concerns of the children as individuals and as a group.
  • Implement a consistent schedule, which includes group experiences, choice time, music and movement, large and small motor activities skill developments, meals, and effective transition between activities.
  • Prepare the learning environment, setting up interest centers, preparing needed materials and supplies, and carrying out developmentally appropriate activities designed to meet the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of the children in the classroom.
  • Complete child development assessments, individual child portfolios, and weekly lesson plans as scheduled using Teaching Strategies program.
  • Participate with children in group and individual activities.

Substitute Early Childhood Classroom Teacher

Substitute Teachers cover teachers who are absent due to illness or planned leave time. We hire as on-call basis and advanced notice is usually provided. Flexibility is necessary as same-day opportunities will arise. 1 to 40 hours/week.
