Campus dining meal plans

We provide fresh and flexible meal plans for all Fort Lewis College students, staff, and faculty. Unless otherwise listed, all meal plans are billed per academic semester. Campus dining locations are limited for the summer semester.

Residential Meal Plans are required for all first-year students and on-campus residents without full kitchens*. These plans cover all-you-care-to-eat breakfast, lunch, dinner at the San Juan Dining Hall, and lunch at the Rocket Grill. Dining Dollars are provided each semester and can be used at all other Campus Dining locations.

*Only Mears, Centennial, and the Gauge residents are exempt from required meal plans.

Changing your meal plan

Residential meal plan-eligible students are automatically enrolled in the 19-meal plan with your housing contract.
You can adjust your meal plan each semester before Census Date. You can only increase your meal plan after Census Date.

Dining Dollars

  • Limited to campus dining locations.
  • Fixed-dollar part of residential meal plans.
  • Can be used to treat guests at any dining location on campus. 
  • Non-refundable at the end of each semester.

SkyCash

  • Debit account for use anywhere on campus (dining or retail) accepting SkyCard payments.
  • Can be managed through the Transact eAccounts mobile app.

  • Can be used to treat guests at any dining location on campus. 
  • Funds can be deposited at specific kiosks on campus.
  • Balances at the end of the semester can be refunded through the Accounting Office.

Voluntary plans allow residents of Mears, Centennial, the Gauge, and any off-campus student to have swipe access to San Juan Dining Hall and Flex Dollars to use at all Campus Dining locations.

  • Can purchase at any time during the academic year. 
  • Usable at all campus dining locations.
  • Can be used to treat guests at any dining location on campus. 
  • Balances roll over from semester to semester.
  • Balances forfeited after one year of inactivity.
