Please see the Fort Lewis College campus map for parking lot designations. There is no overnight parking from 1:00 AM to 7:00 AM in commuter parking lots. Violators will be ticketed. If there is a special need to park overnight in these lots such as working or studying late or if your vehicle is inoperative, please call Fort Lewis College Police at 247-7491 or 749-6581 to advise them of the situation. Overnight Reed Library users should park in the metered spaces in the north end of the EBH Parking Lot. You may park overnight in residential parking lots with a valid residential parking permit during the academic school year.
During the Thanksgiving, Winter Holiday and Spring Breaks, vehicles left on-campus must be left in the Stadium/Visitor Lot (see map) by the Ray Dennison Memorial (Football) Field in a regular (not handicapped) space. Vehicles left elsewhere on campus will be towed at the owner's expense if they are obstructing snow removal or lot maintenance during these times.
Parking permits are not required during the summer, from May 1st through August 31st. Enforcement of other parking violations is continuous throughout the year, including summer.
Routine parking lot maintenance sometimes causes temporary parking lot closures in the summer. Due to maintenance and special events during the summer, no long term parking is available.
