About James Padilla

James Padilla is a new member of the Theatre faculty at Fort Lewis College. Prior to arriving at Fort Lewis, he served as the Technical Theatre Coordinator at San Juan College. He is also a member of the New Mexico Educational Theatre Association Board, who's focus is on supporting and expanding theatre education in high schools in New Mexico.

Outside of his academic work, he works as the lighting designer for Four Corners Musical Theatre Company. His favorite productions that he has designed for them include Gene Kelly's Lost Musical, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, and Spamalot.
