Volunteer Guidelines

The purpose of these Guidelines is to assist campus personnel to safely and effectively manage volunteers.  Fort Lewis College's volunteer community allows the College to broaden and enhance its services to the campus community. Campus employees involved with volunteer services need to be aware of potential loss producing hazards. The use of volunteers requires focus on duties and responsibilities to minimize as much as practicable the potential for loss. These Guidelines are intended to assist in this effort.
