During his architecture studies, Steve had the honor of working with the late Emil Haury, UofA Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Anthropology; programming and developing design studies for a proposed National Monument at the historic "Snaketown" archeological digs.  As time allows, Steve enjoys hiking and backpacking Arizona and Colorado trails as well as the art and craft of painting, sculpture, enamel work, and photography. He also enjoys listening to music and skiing, a sport he first learned as an FLC student.
