FLC's monthlong celebration of the arts is open to the FLC and Durango communities.

Celebrate the exceptional creative work of graduating senior art and design majors. The exhibition will showcase a wide variety of styles and mediums, highlighting the remarkable range of FLC’s artists and designers.

Opening Reception: April 9, 4:30 - 6 pm  in the Art Gallery, Art Hall.

Exhibition: Open from 9 April — 2 May.
Hours: Monday thru Thursday, 10 am – 4 pm, and Friday – Sunday, 11 am – 4 pm.

The opening reception is a free event with free food and drinks.

Celebration of Indigenous Poetry

SEEDS Anthology Contributor Reading, Open Mic, and Celebration

Celebrate the publication of the All Our Kin Collective’s anthology of Indigenous poetry, SEEDS with a reading from anthology contributors and open mic. Attendees will receive a free copy of the anthology which features artwork from FLC alumna and artist Laurel Grimes. The event is part of the Language in All Directions All Our Kin Collective Symposium.

Rapheal Begay Artist Talk

A special artist talk with Diné photographer, curator, and creative collaborator Rapheal Begay. Rapheal is a visual storyteller based in Tségháhoodzání (Window Rock, Arizona) who uses cultural landscape photography, Indigenous storytelling traditions, and land-based knowledge to inform his creative practice and to preserve memory and understanding found in the Diné way of life. Rapheal will share his professional approach and the projects that have shaped his practice.
