Homecoming 2021 kicks off soon, and we cant wait to welcome all current students and alumni to a week of games, dancing, and flockin' 'til we drop! Here are some of the events we have planned -- check back in soon for more details!

7:30 p.m. - FLC Theatre Presents: Native American Stories for All Ages
Community Concert Hall
Three short plays explore cultural traditions, origin stories, heritage, and belonging, written and directed by Native Americans. 

  • Wild Horses by Rhiana Yazzie, directed by Kim Gleason. Q&A with the playwright, director, and cast after the show.
  • Chief Tender-Foot by Annawyn Shamas, directed by senior Tyler Gleason
  • Buffalo Tricks by Alan Kilpatrick, directed by senior Shane Ventris
 

Morning Family Hike
FLC family and staff on a fall hike in the mountainsSpend a couple of hours with the staff from Outdoor Pursuits on a local trail, enjoying those last warm mornings of fall. Your students are welcome to join in on this or sleep in while you get a little exercise. Alumni can register for free, but spaces are limited!

Please email Josh or call 970-247-7293 to register. Cost to join the hike is $10 per person (except for alumni)

11 a.m. - All-Campus Homecoming Brunch

Free with a Skycard; alumni and families can pick up their free tickets at the San Juan Dining entrance

11 a.m. Alumni Tailgate tent**
Alumni and their families can come enjoy games, giveaways, views, and a beer ticket to the Steamworks beer garden in the South end zone. Check-in at the alumni tent when you arrive.

12 p.m. - Men’s Football vs Colorado Mesa University
Alumni and current students get in for free. Alumni and families check in at the Alumni tent for a game ticket and free beer coupon.

Downhill finals, team relay finals, and podium ceremony. Action all day long! Alumni can join us at the base for a brew with a view.
