Build your idea. Prepare your pitch.

Workshops and events are designed to support participants at every stage of the competition. Whether you’re exploring an early idea or preparing for the final pitch, these sessions offer guidance, tools, and opportunities to learn from experienced professionals. Workshops are open to all participants and many sessions are also open to the broader community.

Learn, build, and prepare with confidence

From January through April, a series of information sessions, workshops, and mentorship opportunities guide participants through the full business planning process. These events are designed to help you:

  • understand how the competition works
  • develop and refine your business idea
  • build a strong, competitive business plan
  • prepare a clear and confident pitch
  • No prior business experience is required. These events are part of how you learn.

Can’t attend every event?

That’s okay. Attendance is encouraged, but not required. Participants can still access guidance, resources, and support for their business plan even if they are unable to attend an information session or workshop. Many events are also available virtually.
