Undergraduate Research

Great public speaking skills enhance our ability to educate, inspire and persuade others.  Here at Fort Lewis College, almost all students engage in some type of research, particularly during their senior year.  This spring, as we approach the Undergraduate Research Spring Symposium & Awards Gala, which is taking place on April 23, 2026, you are invited to participate in two "Communicating Your Research" workshops.  The first workshop focused on audience, content and introduction.  This second workshop will focus on physical oral presentation skills.  Join us to help develop and delivery an excellent 10-minute talk.  We look forward to seeing you there!  There will be food!
