Senate Chambers in the Student Union

Great public speaking skills enhance our ability to educate, inspire and persuade others.  Here at Fort Lewis College, almost all students engage in some type of research, particularly during their senior year.  This spring, as we approach the Undergraduate Research Spring Symposium & Awards Gala, which is taking place on April 23, 2026, you are invited to participate in two "Communicating Your Research" workshops.  The first one is happening on March 5th, from 12:50 to 2:10 pm (college hour) in the Senate Chambers, which is located in the Student Union, past the welcome desk.  We'd love for you to join us!  Come with your research ideas and some enthusiasm, and we'll get you started on how to prepare an excellent 10-minute presentation about the awesome research you have been doing. There will be food!
