Paige Vega is working as Climate Editor at Vox, steering the publication’s environmental coverage of the climate crisis. Previously she worked as the senior editor overseeing the Southwest, land, and waters, and special projects for High Country News, a magazine focused on the Western United States. and as an environment reporter and columnist for The Summit Daily News, a reporter for The Durango Herald, and wrote about science during her graduate work at the University of Missouri’s prestigious journalism school. Her first byline appeared in The Independent when she was a reporter in 2008 at Fort Lewis College.
