About Jaymee Carozza

I graduated from California State University, Chico with my undergraduate (1993) degree in Exercise Physiology with a minor in Health. After taking a year off of school to figure out my next step, I went back to Chico State to complete my master’s degree in Exercise Physiology (1996).

I came to Fort Lewis College as the Head Women’s Soccer Coach and Exercise Science Instructor in August of 1997. After ten years of coaching and teaching I decided to stay home for a few years to raise my children. I continued to teach a few classes each year as an adjunct until all three of my kids were in school. I have been in my role as a full-time instructor since 2017.

I am fortunate enough to be in a career that I love. One of my favorite parts of my job is that I have the good fortune to watch students come to Fort Lewis College uncertain of who they are and what they are want to do, and then find their footing and grow into successful young adults.
