Run the Rim returns

Sunday April 16, 2023, 9 a.m.

Run the Rim 5K/10K returns! Held annually, but suspended for the last few years, this race is organized by Fort Lewis College Health and Human Performance (HHP). Proceeds support scholarships for Health & Human Performance students. The event also provides an experiential, hands-on learning experience for students in ES 378 Sports Events and Facility Management.

The race begins at 9 a.m. Participants should arrive between 8:30 - 8:40 a.m.

Online registration fees are listed below. Official event t-shirts are available for purchase ($18) during registration.

100% of the registration fees go to scholarships for HHP students. If you are not able to participate, but would still like to support our students, you may donate here.

We invite you to run for a cause! During registration, you’ll select from the following causes to support. On race day, you’ll receive a corresponding silicone wristband. We encourage you to donate to local and national organizations associated with each cause:

Course map

The course begins and ends at Whalen Gymnasium and runs along Rim Drive which encircles FLC’s campus.
