In 2014 and 2015, Fort Lewis College underwent a self-study of our policies and programs as well as an external review by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) in order to qualify for re-accreditation. The following documents are the result of that process.
Assurance argument – As part of the self-study process, Fort Lewis College produced an Assurance Argument that was submitted to the HLC on August 8, 2015. The process included input from a number of stakeholders that included faculty, staff, students, administrators, board members, and community members.
Final report – On December 10, 2015, the HLC submitted their Final Report. The HLC team found that, while Fort Lewis College does have some challenges to face in the coming years, the school is in a good position to address those challenges and does meet all five criteria for accreditation.
