Join Charlene Swansen, Reed Library Staff, and Mario Borrero, Assistant Professor of Anthropology, to discuss Our Hidden Conversations on February 3 from 4-5:30 p.m. in Reed Library, Beers Study Lounge. 

Race. Your thoughts. Six words. From this simple prompt, Michele Norris’s The Race Card Project opened a powerful national conversation. Our Hidden Conversations brings together six-word stories, personal reflections, and photographs that reveal how Americans think and feel about race and identity. Honest, moving, and sometimes uncomfortable, this book invites us to listen, reflect, and discuss together. We'll discuss pages 125-138 and everyone is invited to bring their own six-word story on race.
