About Dr. Jerry Crawford

Gerry Crawford is a professor in the Department of Physics and Engineering at Fort Lewis College. He joined the college in 1985 and served as chair of the department from 2004 to 2010. Dr. Crawford provides technical advice and resources for engineering and physics students conducting their senior design and research in a wide variety of areas. Currently, he is engaged in a research project to investigate electrical and optical properties of porous silicon with FLC students and another faculty member. Dr. Crawford is the faculty adviser for the FLC chapter of the Society of Physics Students and Sigma Pi Sigma, the Physics Honor Society.

Dr. Crawford is a member of the American Association of Physics Teachers, the Society of Physics Students and Sigma Pi Sigma.
