The benefits are: CUTTING EDGE RESEARCH in the biological, physical & social/behavioral sciences, math, and engineering. In the BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES, students can choose from among 200 labs, including the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and the Cancer Institute of New Jersey. PARTNERSHIPS with REU programs: Cellular Bioengineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences/Engineering, Physics & Astronomy, and Environmental Sciences. By applying to RiSE, students are automatically considered for partner programs. APPLICATION TIMELINE: Rolling admission starts at the end of January and is highly selective.
