CURE Summer Research Program CURE is a summer, paid research training program for high school and college undergraduate Native American students. Take part in ongoing research at the University of New Mexico Cancer Center. Here are some examples of ongoing projects: Understanding how arsenic and uranium in water sources may cause cancer Discovering what tribal communities have done and can do to further improve the health of their members Identifying causes and treatments for breast and ovarian cancer Learning how schools can help students to improve diet choices, reduce obesity and reduce the risk of getting cancer Genomic analyses for personalized cancer therapies Application and More Information: Students will need to apply via the UPN application
