Recognize a colleague with a Fli-Hi Award

Want to show your appreciation for a fellow employee’s hard work? The Fli-Hi Award is a simple way to give them the recognition they deserve. Just follow these three steps:

  1. Fill out the online submission form
  2. We send a copy to you, the recipient, the recipient's supervisor, and put in the employee’s files

Each month, Fli-Hi Award recipients will also be celebrated in a campus-wide spotlight! Thank you for supporting and encouraging the amazing work happening at Fort Lewis College. Let’s keep building each other up.

Carl and the Grounds Team (Mick, Greg, Jake, Thomas, Evan, Burt, Matt, Tawry) were the first team through the quarterly training 100% with everything completed. Great work and excellent commitment to safety. Thank you, Carl and Grounds for all you do on our campus and for staying safe.

Carl addressed a flood emergency after-hours on a weekend with professionalism and speed. Carl stepped up and made sure the problem was solved, preventing the situation from worsening. Carl exemplifies the best qualities of the staff at PPS. Thank you, Carl!

Emmy answered questions and led a tour of the Skyhawk Station for the accounts receivable team from Adams State University on 6/18/26. She did an amazing job with the promoting FLC and answering questions regarding the strengths and challenges of the SHS team. The ASU team took pictures of the SHS and copious notes based on Emmy's presentation.

John Lynch and Stephen Windsor were both solution focused and worked with me to come up with a plan to clear the expenses of a previous employee. Thank you for your help!

Nicolette's dedication, organization and commitment to Orientation shined last week with our first Orientation of the summer! She brought excitement and a personal experience to all our families on campus. She has elevated the Orientation program and got so many departments on campus bought into the experience and just as excited to provide an awesome experience for our future students!

Shawna consistently goes above and beyond to help me push through important administrative work, often stopping her own tasks to assist. She is always quick to answer questions, and her patience ensures I never feel bad when I need extra clarification. Beyond her helpfulness, she brings a welcoming and smiling energy to the office when we stop in. We truly appreciate all of her hard work in the HR Department!!

Wes came in late the evening of a Friday and returned on Saturday to help with a leak happening in the Apartments. He ensured things were fixed as much as possible over the weekend so the residents were comfortable until the larger project could be completed the following
