The fall semester is right around the corner, which means we finally get to come back #FLCTogether. I’m beyond excited to welcome our new and returning students to campus and engage with our FLC community in ways we haven’t before. The reason we’re able to come back to a vibrant campus is our continued care for another. The pandemic has disrupted many things, but not our commitment to doing what’s best for the safety and health of others. As we head into another semester of in-person learning and highly engaging campus activities, we’ll need to ground ourselves once again in the practices that have kept our community safe and learning.

By announcing our commitment to a vaccinated student body in the fall, we are taking the first steps to return to normal campus life. Here is our policy that will add COVID-19 to the list of vaccinations required for all students in the fall, which will take effect on August 1, 2021. This policy allows both medical and non-medical exemptions. You will find that it aligns with our existing protocols for the MMR vaccine.
I’m excited to announce Rivergate Pharmacy and Axis Health System are partnering to host a COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic for students at the Student Life Center on Friday, April 9th from 12pm-5pm!
A broadly vaccinated student body provides our best hope for returning to the hands-on, inclusive, experiential, and personalized learning environment that we have all come to love. As such, all students enrolling at FLC for the Fall 2021 semester will be required to get a COVID-19 vaccine.
Eligibility to receive the COVID-19 vaccine was recently adjusted by Governor Polis and everyone in Colorado, age 18 and older, will be eligible to receive vaccines on Friday, April 2.
