TRiO Talent Search ProgramOur TRiO Talent Search Program is a federally funded program managed by the U.S. Department of Education. Our objective is to encourage and assist middle school and high school students who are first-generation and/or low-income families to pursue a post-secondary education. TRiO Talent Search serves over 600 7th-12th grade students in Durango, Mancos, Cortez, Ignacio, and Pagosa Springs.

8th graders were invited to write about their life in high school, what they plan to participate in, what they hope to accomplish, and where they see themselves at the end of the next four years. Five winners were chosen to receive new tech backpacks and earbuds, and all students who submitted received a TRIO hoodie!
