TRiO Talent Search ProgramOur TRiO Talent Search Program is a federally funded program managed by the U.S. Department of Education. Our objective is to encourage and assist middle school and high school students who are first generation and/or low-income families to pursue a post-secondary education. TRiO Talent Search serves over 600 7th-12th grade students in Durango, Mancos, Cortez, Ignacio, and Pagosa Springs.

8th graders were invited to write about their life in high school; what they plan to participate in, what they hope to accomplish, and where they see themselves at the end of the next 4 years. 5 winners were chosen to receive new tech backpacks and earbuds, and all students who submitted received a TRIO hoodie!
