About Marnie Clay
Marnie Clay is professionally credentialed as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and has over 20 years of experience in nutrition, dietetics and higher education. She is currently the Director of the Didactic Program in Dietetics and loves preparing future dietitians for careers as nutrition professionals. She combines her background in clinical, nutrition counseling, and community nutrition with a passion for innovative, student-centered teaching. Her work focuses on food security, culturally responsive nutrition education, experiential learning, and connecting food, health, and culture in meaningful ways.
Marnie enjoys all the great outdoors has to offer in the Four Corners region. When not chasing her three kids, you are likely to find Marnie on skis, hiking, biking, paddle boarding, camping, or exploring red rock country.
