About Nora Flucke

Dr. Flucke is an Associate Professor of Public Health and directs Fort Lewis College’s Community Health Worker (CHW) Certificate Program, a CDPHE-accredited CHW training for FLC students and community members. In and outside of the classroom, Dr. Flucke creates experiential learning experiences and mentors undergraduate research students according to each student’s career goal.

As a principal investigator, Dr. Flucke conducts clinical studies in cancer navigation. She holds the patent for the Oncology Nurse Navigator Patient Assessment© (ONNPA©), an instrument used in the clinical oncology setting. Dr. Flucke’s research has been disseminated in prominent peer-reviewed publications, to which she regularly contributes as a peer reviewer of articles and book chapters.
