Join Pi Sigma Alpha at FLC

Fort Lewis College is home to the Chi Gamma Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society.

Why Join?

Beyond serving as a recognition of academic achievement in the field of Political Science, membership in Pi Sigma Alpha offers students a variety of ways to enhance their college experience, such as gaining administrative experience as chapter officers, organizing chapter activities, and networking with other Political Science majors at Fort Lewis College and beyond. Members are eligible to compete for chapter grants, scholarships for graduate study, and internship scholarships. Pi Sigma Alpha holds an annual Student Research Conference where members have the opportunity to present original research. In addition, because Pi Sigma Alpha is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies, the United States Office of Personnel Management (OPM) guarantees a higher entry-level grade for Pi Sigma Alpha members entering government service. For more information, please visit Pi Sigma Alpha’s national website.
