Undergraduate Admission

Once you’re ready to apply, create an account in the FLC Admission Portal, fill out every question, and submit your application. A non-refundable $40 application fee is required to process your application.

Pay online by debit or credit card when you submit your application. You can also submit your application without payment and mail a check or money order payable to Fort Lewis College. Include your full name and date of birth with your payment.

If the application fee is a financial hardship, you can request a waiver. Select Yes when the application asks if you want to request a fee waiver due to financial hardship.

If you attended another college or university after leaving FLC, request an official transcript from each institution you attended. Your previous institution must send your transcript directly to FLC:

You may submit a personal statement or essay with your application. This can be helpful if there are circumstances, experiences, or changes since your last attendance at FLC that you’d like the Admission Committee to consider.

Your response should be 200–500 words. You can choose one of the following:

• Personal statement: Share context about your academic journey, experiences, or plans for returning to FLC.
• Essay of your choice: Submit a piece of writing that helps us learn more about you, such as an essay you’re proud of or something else you’d like the Admission Committee to know.
