Lost or stolen

Log in to your SkyCard account to freeze your SkyCard. Do this immediately to prevent unauthorized purchases or access to campus buildings - like residence halls, Student Life Center, or anywhere else you scan into. You are responsible for any purchases made prior to freezing your account. Only the remaining balance can be protected.

Damaged

Do not punch holes, keep your SkyCard next to your phone while charging, or intentionally make any changes to it. Your SkyCard may not function, and you may be responsible for a fee to get a replacement.

Life happens - Protect your education!

GradGuard provides peace of mind by reimbursing the financial losses if a student withdraws at any time during the semester for a covered reason, which can include: 

• Serious illness or injury (such as mononucleosis or a severe head injury)
• Chronic illness (such as an autoimmune disorder or diabetes)
• Mental health conditions (such as stress, depression, or severe anxiety)
• Death of a tuition payer (such as parent or guardian)
• Loss of employment for a tuition payer (at no fault of their own)

How do you sign up?

Opt-in through your student account suite.  

Federal financial aid rules are changing for the 2026–27 academic year. These changes may affect undergraduate students, graduate students, parent borrowers, and borrowers who are already repaying federal loans.
 

Colorado’s statewide transfer system helps students move eligible coursework between public colleges and universities.

GT Pathways courses are designed to transfer as general education credit among Colorado public institutions when those requirements are part of the receiving degree. Statewide Transfer Articulation Agreements create defined pathways from certain Associate of Arts (AA) and Associate of Science (AS) degrees into related bachelor’s degree programs.

Students who complete an eligible AA or AS Degree with Designation may transfer with junior standing and complete the related bachelor’s degree in about 60 additional credits, depending on the program. The degree itself does not guarantee admission to a four-year institution or a specific academic program.

Bridge to Bachelor's helps eligible students begin an associate degree at a Colorado Community College System institution with a plan to continue toward a bachelor's degree at Fort Lewis College.

Participants may receive:

• Personalized transfer planning and advising
• Guidance for selecting transferable coursework
• An FLC application fee waiver when eligible
• Scholarship opportunities
• A coordinated pathway from community college to FLC

Who is eligible?

Students beginning an associate degree at a Colorado Community College System institution may be eligible to participate. Contact your community college advisor to learn more.
