Faculty will be notified of the window and deadline to enter final grades for their instructed courses of the current term in Workday. (See instructions for "Deadlines for Final and Mid-Term grade submissions.") 

Changing a grade within the grading deadline of a semester 

Instructors can edit a submitted grade themselves in Workday if the deadline to enter grades for a semester has not passed. 

1. Log in to Workday, select the MENU button on the top left of the portal, and go to the Teaching app.  
2. Under the Grading section, select Assign Final Grades.  
3. Choose My Assigned Course Sections in the pop-up window.  
4. Select the appropriate term/semester from the options.  
5. Choose your desired Course Section. Select Ok. 
6. When your class roster appears, use the scroll bar at the bottom of the table to scroll to the right until you see the Change Grade column and click the check box. 
7. Enter the Revised Grade in the next column. 
8. Select a Change Grade Reason in the next column. 
   1. Calculation Error 
   2. Data Entry Error 
   3. Other (You need to submit a Comment in the column if you select this option; initials or the date are acceptable) 
9. Complete the above steps for other students needing a grade change in the course section. 
10. Select Submit (or Save for Later if you need to return later) 
11. Select the check box next to Confirm. 

The U.S. Department of Education has flagged your FAFSA application for the “Unusual Enrollment History” review because you have received Federal Pell Grant and/or student Direct Loan funding at multiple schools during the past four years. This flag requires the student to submit an Unusual Enrollment History appeal to the Fort Lewis College Financial Aid Office listing whether you earned credits during the terms you received Federal Pell Grant and/or Student Direct Loan funding or explaining why you did not earn any credits during the term(s) you received Federal funding.

Any future Federal financial aid you will receive depends on an approved appeal through the appeals process.

You can get one free SkyCard replacement by visiting Skyhawk Station in person. After this, you can replace for $15 online.

If you have updated your preferred name on WebOPUS, your SkyCard will reflect your preferred name.

Correct your social security number, date of birth, name, or other information if it was incorrectly saved in your student record.

You may register for up to 8 summer credits without submitting this Credit Overload Petition. If you would like to take over 8 credits, submit this petition and Skyhawk Station staff will register you for the additional classes. 

Important dates for financial aid, registration, course withdrawal, and more.

Instructors can give Registration Overrides for your courses. An instructor override can allow a student to register for a course if:

• They have not satisfied the prerequisites
• The course requires instructor's permission
• And/or if the student does not satisfy a class (first-year, sophomore, etc.) or there is a significant restriction. 

Starting the first week of the term, the override includes an Override for Capacity.

Talk with your instructor about overriding the registration.

Your academic advisor can help you plan your courses, register, and create your graduation plan. Advisors can also help you tackle registration challenges and work through academic warnings and other events affecting your academic standing.

You can change your major, minor, concentration, certificate, and/or catalog year anytime.

As you register for your final courses to fulfill degree or certificate requirements, submit an Application for Graduation. All degree- and certificate-seeking students must apply to graduate. 

Application deadlines:

• Fall Graduation (December): May 1
• Spring Graduation (May): December 1
• Summer Graduation (July): December 1
