The field of healthcare is wide-ranging, and this one-year certificate program can assist you in navigating the many options available beyond becoming a doctor or nurse. You’ll focus on social and cultural factors involved in patient care, such as poverty and access to services, as well as cultural values and perspectives. In this way, you’ll become familiar with the kinds of issues many of your future patients are facing.
