If you have concerns about a member of the campus community or are experiencing a conflict and do not feel comfortable addressing it on your own, support is available.

Consult someone for guidance

Your department chair is your first point of contact. If your concern involves your department chair, contact your associate dean instead. In many cases, your chair or associate dean can help resolve the issue or connect you with the appropriate resources. This is a helpful first step even if you also choose to submit a formal report.

Report a concern

Use the Person of Concern form to report concerns about a person's well-being, disruptive behavior, or conflicts within the campus community. Reports are routed to the appropriate office for review. If there are individuals you do not want notified that you submitted a report, you can indicate that in the form.

Depending on the nature of the concern, reports may be reviewed by:

  • Student-related concerns: Student Well-Being Case Manager, Division of Student Engagement. See the Behavioral Intervention Team webpage for additional information.
  • Concerns involving an FLC employee: Human Resources.
  • Academic or classroom concerns: Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs and Student Success, Academic Affairs. <
