If you earn an Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) degree from San Juan College, FLC waives your Liberal Arts Core requirements. You'll still need to complete prerequisites and requirements for your FLC degree. San Juan College is currently one of FLC’s approved blanket-exception institutions.

New Mexico residents who earn an AA or AS degree from San Juan College with a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher can attend FLC at the in-state tuition rate. No separate application is required. Eligible students are automatically considered during the admission process.
Students who earn an AA or AS degree from San Juan College with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher receive an additional $1,000 for their first year at FLC. This is a one-time award.
