Why study music at Fort Lewis College

Whether you're looking for a career in music or just want to deepen your appreciation of music, you'll find what you want and more in the Fort Lewis College Music Department. Fort Lewis College is fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music, and we offer tuition scholarships for qualified Music majors.

Degrees in Jazz Studies, Music Business, Music Performance, Music Education, and General Music let you pursue your passions while preparing you to succeed in today's musical world as a performer, educator, promoter, or producer. And our small classes mean you get an individualized attention from our expert faculty.

We also believe that the best learning is by doing. That's why we have quality and popular concert venues on campus. The 600-seat Community Concert Hall is one the largest live-performance halls in the region, hosting campus, local, regional, and national music and dance acts. The Jan Carl Roshong Recital Hall is an intimate performance setting featuring frequent student and faculty recitals, and master classes with professionals and visiting performers.
